How to Unplug Cork in Korok Puzzle Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
So, you’ve run into one of these giant corks and want to know how to unplug the cork in the Zelda Tears of the Kingdom korok puzzles. You’ve probably guessed that it is one of those mini-puzzles you have to solve to reveal a Korok, and you’re absolutely correct. But how do you solve the korok cork puzzle? Well, you have to use physics (and a bit of creative thinking) to help you out. Here’s what you need to do.
How to Unplug Korok Cork in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
To unplug the giant cork in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom and complete the Korok cork puzzle, you have to interact with the “counterweight” on the other side of the chain. We first thought to build a boat using Autobuild, attach the other end to it, then sailing out into the water until the cork pops. And I suppose that’s a perfectly valid solution, but we’ve never tried it. Instead, we used Ultrahand to push the “counterweight” as deep into the water as we could. I mean it; push it all the way to bottom if possible. When you let go, the thing will fly to the surface and into the air, taking the cork with it. A Korok will pop out of the hole and give you a Seed.
And there you have it, that’s how you unplug the big ole cork in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. I say “cork” in singular, but the fact of the matter is that there are at least two of these Korok cork puzzles. The solution is always the same: push the end that’s already in the water as far as you can with Ultrahand, then deactivate the ability. Watch it sail out of the water and uncork the log, releasing the Korok. Easy-peasy, and no boat crafting necessary.
