Unlike many other armor sets in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, the Royal Guard Armor has one unique feature. Namely, it doesn’t actually have any special set bonuses. However, that doesn’t mean that you should not upgrade it. Au contraire. The value of this set comes from its raw defensive power, as it provides more protection than even the Hylian Armor set. Hence, it’s ideal for an upgrade if you just want the stas, and you don’t care for special effects. Below, you will find the Royal Guard Upgrade Cost and Materials for each level:
