The Moonlit Princess Tears of the Kingdom
Seggin in Zora’s Domain is going to give you “The Moonlit Princess” side quest. He remembers how Princess Mipha looked like when she was holding the Lightscale Trident under the light of the Moon and asks that you give him one more chance to see that beautiful sight once more. To do this, you are going to have to take a picture of a specific place, while also capturing the Moon in that photo. But what to do if the Moon isn’t available there? Well, here’s what you have to do to complete The Moonlit Princess in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
How to Complete The Moonlit Princess in TOTK
First, let’s see where you need to go. The spot that you are looking for is very close-by and it is called Shatterback Point. We have marked it in our screenshot below. As you are looking to take a picture with the Moon in it, you will – of course – want to go there at night. Now, the question is – what to do if, when you get there at night, the Moon isn’t visible? Well, this can happen for a variety of reasons. First of all, it could be that you have arrived there too early. We managed to get a clear photo of the statue with the Moon in it at around 12:50 AM. So aim at around that time or so.
Secondly, this could be because of bad weather conditions. After all, just like in real life, the Moon often can’t be seen when it is especially cloudy at night. So if you get there and realize that this is the reason why you can’t see the Moon, keep changing the time of day to night until you manage to get a nice, clear night sky. Then, all that’s left is to take a picture of the statue with the Moon in the frame and bring back this photo to Seggin.
