In a game that rewards player creativity, it is crucial to have as many options at your disposal, and fire is certainly an essential tool in your arsenal. We’re here to show you how to make fire in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom so that you can start utilizing fire to its full advantage in Zelda TotK.
How to Start a Fire in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
To be able to start a fire in Zelda TotK, you will need several things. To start with, of course, you are going to need wood. You get wood from trees – either by cutting down smaller trees, or felling larger ones and then cutting them into smaller pieces of wood when they are on the ground. After that, you will also need to get flint. Unlike wood, flint is obtained from caves. You can also find it in some other locations, such as from random boxes, but your best bet to get it are caves.
Once you have both of these in your inventory, start by placing a bundle of wood on the floor where you want to make the fire. Next, place the flint directly next to the wood. Finally, hit the flint with a metallic or stony weapon. This will cause the flint to be spent and disappear, meaning that you can’t reuse the same pice of flint for every fire. If you have done this properly, the flint will emit sparks which will then set the wood on fire and produce a campfire.
