How to Ascend in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
Zelda Tears of the Kingdom features many new abilities that Link can use. These will help him in his adventures and open up a whole new range of possibilities in how he can interact with the world. How to Get Ascend Ability in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
You will unlock the Ascend Ability in Zelda TotK when you reach and enter the Gutanbac Shrine. We have written a whole other guide that explains how to complete the Gutanbac Shrine. We recommend that you give it a read if you want to know how to solve it.
How to Use Ascend in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
Luckily, Ascend is very easy to use in Zelda TotK. Once you have unlocked it, place your character underneath the ceiling of a structure that you want to get to the top of. Go into your abilities tab and select Ascend. Now that you have it selected, press L. If you have positioned Link correctly, this is going to activate a green indicator on the ceiling. It indicates that you can use Ascend. If the indicator is red, you can’t use the ability. Press A to begin to Ascend upwards. Alternatively, you can press B to cancel. Link will then emerge through the floor on the top of the structure. Press A and he will exit the hole. Or press B to have him go back down.
