Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Depths Armor Set Map Locations
In Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom we are introduced to a new part of Hyrule called the Depths. In order to navigate easier through gloom infested underground the game received the new Depths armor set. It consists of Tunic of the Depths, Gaiters of the Depths and Hood of the Depths. All of these provide Gloom resistance. Gloom is a new type of danger that makes one of your hearts unavailable if you stand in it for more than 5 seconds. Zelda TOTK Depths Armor Set Map Location
All of the Depths Armor Set Pieces are obtained by discovering a new type of Depths exclusive merchant called bargainer statues. You will find your first one in Lookout Landing next to Josha, at the ground level of Purah’s house. When you talk to the strange looking statue it tells you it accepts poes. Zelda TOTK Poes are little light spirits found in the Depths. If you give this statue 100 poes it will reveal a location of one of its bargainer statue brethren in the Depths.
Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Tunic of the Depths, Gaiters of the Depths and Hood of the Depths
Tunic of the Depths is the first piece of the Depths armor set you can buy from bargainers. Once you find your first bargainer statue in the Depths it will offer it for 150 poes. It has 3 armor and will prevent 1 heart from becoming unavailable when walking on gloom. To get Gaiters of the Depths you will have to find 2 more bargainer statues. When you have four total, including the one in Lookout Landing, you can purchase the Gaiters for 200 poes. They also have 3 armor and one gloom hearth protection. Lastly, for Hood of the Depths you will have to find and pray at 2 more statues for a total of 6. Cost is 300 poes and you get 3 armor. Zelda TOTK Depths Armor Set Bonus & Upgrade material requirements
Full Depths Armor set, when worn, protects four of your hearts from getting disabled by gloom. When you wear the full set you also get a set bonus called Gloom Attack Resist. This means the armor set will protect you not only from walking on gloom but will protect your hearts from being disabled when attacked by gloom infested enemies. This is super useful in many boss fights you’ll have in the Depths. However, to activate the set bonus you have to upgrade each Depths Armor Set piece two times at the Great Fairies.

- First upgrade:
- Second upgrade: 3x Frox Fang (boss in Depths), 5x Dark Clump (material you buy at bargainer statue for poes)
- Third upgrade: 3xObsidian Frox Fang, 20x Zonaite, 3x Frox Fingernail
