Zelda Botw Zora Helm, Greaves, Armor Set Locations

Zora Armor Set is one of the outfits that you can find and wear in Breath of the Wild. It dramatically increases your swimming speed, allows you to swim up waterfalls, and doing a Swim Dash will take less stamina. There’s three parts in the set: Zora Armor, Zora Helm and Zora Greaves. You’ll have to complete several quests to get this armor, so prepare yourself. In this guide, we’ll show you how to get Zelda Breath of the Wild Zora Armor set.

Zora Chest Armor Location

You can unlock this part of the Zora Armor Set by just following the main quest line. More specifically, you can find it during the main story in Zora’s Domain. Keep going through the quest until you talk to King of the Zora, Dorephan. The two of you will talk about the Divine Beast, and he will grant you the Zora Armor. This armor part will increase your swimming speed, as well as grant you the ability to swim up waterfalls. This will make searching for the other pieces much more manageable. The following armor parts don’t necessarily require you to be able to swim up a waterfall, but it’s significantly easier if you do.

Zora Helm Location

Zora Helm is probably the easiest part to get. Since you’re already in Zora’s Domain, head north towards Toto Lake. At one point, you’ll have to scale a huge cliff with a waterfall. Use your new armor to swim all the way up. If you haven’t gotten the previous armor, that’s not much of a problem. You can climb up if you have enough stamina. However, you’ll probably need to eat some food for stamina if you haven’t upgraded it before. When you finally reach the lake, head over to the ruins and climb the wall on the far right of the flooded ruins. Use Magnesis to look around until you find a chest and lift it from the water. Open it and collect Zora’s Helm.

Where to find Zora Greaves

This one probably has many people confused. First off, head to Zora Town. You need to find the side quest called Lynel Safari. The Zora that gives you that quest is called Laflat. However, that quest might not be open for you immediately. Go around Zora and complete the various side quests that the inhabitants have to offer. Check back in with Laflat, and the quest should be open.

Laflat will explain that there’s a Lynel on Ploymus mountain, and she needs you to take a photo of the monster to show others how dangerous it is. Apparently, a lot of young Zoras have started climbing up the mountain to look at the Lynel. The problem is, the Lynel can be life-threatening, so Laflat needs photo evidence to make her point. You can either climb up the mountain or swim up the waterfall, which is the faster option. If you’ve defeated the Divine Beast, you’ll know where to go – it’s where you got the Shock Arrows. Take a photograph of the Lynel and head back down. Return to Laflat, and she’ll give you the Zora Greaves. Wearing them will increase your swimming speed, and since you should now have the full set, doping a Swim Dash will consume less of your stamina.

Technically speaking, Laflat will accept a photo of any red Lynel. The one on the mountain is the closest, but if you already have a red Lynel in your Compendium, you can use that one and avoid the whole trip completely.

In the ruins, in Toto Lake, you’ll have to use Magnesis to pull the chest from the water.

    Hi there!

I’ve already beaten LYNEL – but haven’t got the mission yet… is this lost – or is there a way to get the Zora Pants anyway?

    Thanks for your help,
    Greg

    1. The Lynel will probably respawn during the next Blood Moon, so you can try again then.

I’m pretty sure she says it can be a photo of any Lynel, so just find another lynel and snap a photo.
