Breath of the Wild has Link sporting Switch T-shirt
We have already talked about the Zelda: Breath of the Wild expansion pass which will allow access to the two-part DLC. The first, smaller expansion will feature A Cave of Trials challenge, a new map feature and a new hard mode. The bigger expansion brings a new original story, along with dungeons and challenges. The former should be out in the summer, while the latter will be released in 2017 Holiday season.
If you do purchase the Expansion Pass, there will be three new treasure chests in the Great Plateau area. There will be a shirt with Nintendo Switch logo in one of the chests, which is exclusive to the owners of the Expansion Pass. Also, if you sell it, it’s gone, so be careful.
This is the first time that a Zelda game receives DLC support. It would appear that gameplay was not the only thing that Zelda creators learned from playing Western releases. Truth be told, it seems to be the best kind of DLC, focused on adding solid new gameplay time to the title.
In other Zelda news today, discussions concerning the timeline of the latest game are cropping up all over the place. Breath of the Wild seems to have caused quite a disturbance in the community. Many of the signs are pointing to it being a sort of a “crossover” title, a hub that connects all of the Zelda games so far.
