Zelda BoTW Korok Mask Location - Strange Mask Rumors Quest
Korok Mask is a new piece of armor in Zelda Breath of The Wild. It was added in the Master Trials DLC, and it’s an exact replica of the giant leaf mask that the Korok wear. It’s not just for show, though – if you decide to wear it, it’ll help you find Korok seeds. You’ll first have to find it, though, and finish the Strange Mask Rumors quest. In this guide, we’re going to show you Zelda BoTW Korok mask location.

Where to find Korok Mask
First, go to the Woodlands stable. There’s a book on a table there. When you read it, it’ll give you a hint, saying you can find the mask in a tree hollow, in a forest that makes people lose their way. Sounds familiar?
Yes, it’s in the Lost Woods, that most dreaded part of Great Hyrule Forest. When you reach the last two braziers, the ones on the clearing, take out a torch, light it, and head southwest. Tune your sensor to look for treasure chests. The one you need is in a hollow tree near the souther coast.
Once you have the mask, equipping it will make you look like one of the forest spirits. It’s an adorable piece of outfit, but it also has a function within the game. When worn, it will alert you of nearby Korok seeds. There are around 900 of them, and getting them will greatly increase your inventory. Once you’ve got them all, you’ll get something hilarous.
The mask works pretty much the same as the shrine detector from the main game. It’s going to start buzzing when you get near a seed, letting you know a hidden prize is near. If you follow the buzzing, you’ll find one of the myriad of puzzles which, when solved, reward you with a tiny, yellow seed.
It’s a great item for late in the game, when you’ve already collected hundreds of little things, but you still need more. Early on, they’re pretty easy to find – they’re practically on every corner. But as you slowly explore Hyrule and clear out the map, they get harder and harder to discover.
