Zelda Breath of The Wild Kilton Secret Vendor - A Shady Customer Quest

Kilton is a secret vendor in Zelda Breath of The Wild. He travels around in a ballon, buying monster parts and selling unique items. He only appears at night, and uses a special currency called Mon. In order to find him, you’ll have to finish A Shady Customer side quest. A Shady Customer side quest in Zelda BoTW

In order to start using Kilton’s services, you’ll first have to finish this side quest. You can start it by talking to a guard named Hoz at the East Akkala Stable. It’s in the Akkala region, in the northeastern corner of the map. Hoz will ask you to take a picture of Kilton. There’s a lake nearby that’s shaped like a skull. Kilton will be on the western island, but only at night. Take his picture and talk to him. After you return to Hoz, Kilton will start appearing around the world.

Where to find Kilton in Zelda BoTW

Now comes the hard part. Kilton moves around quite a bit. He visits the bigger settlements around the map, like Hateno Village, Gerudo Town and Zora’s Domain. He never stays too long, always moving around. Luckily, he’s really easy to spot – his ballon is adorned with brightly colored lights, which makes him stand out in the gloom of the night. When you need to use his services, just travel to shrines near the towns, find some high ground, and you’ll spot him in no time.

He exchanges monster parts you collect for Mon, his own currency. You can use the Mon you get from him to buy some unique items, like the Dark Link costume, various monster masks and a mop.
