The Witness is a puzzle game set on a deserted island. You are alone out there, with nothing but over 600 puzzles to keep you company.

You don’t have to beat them all in order to finish the game – many of them are optional. If you’re an actual human being, chances are, you’re going to end up getting stuck at some of them. We’re working on guides to help you get back on your feet once you hit a roadblock, by giving you hints and puzzle solutions. This guide will contain links to all puzzle solutions for The Witness.
Apart from the puzzles, there are also secret areas you’ll get to visit if you choose to go off the beaten path, which sometimes contain something other than more puzzles. Some of these mysterious rewards are audio files, filled with nuggets of wisdom that might just help you understand what the hell is going on on the island, and puzzle boards. Collecting these secret items will help you unlock achievements.

Something to keep in mind before you start reading: the greatest reward for a person playing The Witness is solving the puzzles. Using a guide to solve them should be your last resort, when you are at your wits’ end. We found ourselves in that position many times while playing this game and that is why we provide these guides. Proceed with caution, because there are spoilers ahead.
The choice is yours – either follow the path the game lays before you, or go off and explore. Who knows what you might find.
i’ve done almost everythink, only need the house of hub that opens third door so i can… (won’t spoiler) go ahed. if you need solutions i can send you captures i think. and of course, i’m still working on the (how you call that black octogonal think?), but i’m slowly finding all of it’s secrets 😀
Thanks for the great guide guys. I finished the game once. So when I started a new game I wanted a quick way to get to the 7 lasers I had before and keep working.
The harder ones to make guides for will be the doodles all over the island for the black poles.
Awesome guide, guys. Appreciate the hard work involved organizing things. As this is a puzzle game, I’m REALLY trying to avoid going to guides or a video as it defeats the purpose of the game itself, but a couple times(the desert area specifically) I needed a nudge or hint to get going, and I’m happy I stumbled into this site by pure luck. Kudos!

Right side of hub was easy you need pay attention to the surroundings, just a heads up to everyone
