Mastercrafted Cat Gear is the last level of upgrade for Cat School Gear. It’s one of the best light armors in the game, and comes after you’ve already went through Enhanced Cat Gear and Superior Cat Gear. In this guide, we’re going to show you how to get Mastercrafted Cat Gear diagrams, the stats of the items and which materials you’ll need to perform the upgrade.

Mastercrafted Cat Gear Stats
Mastercrafted Cat Gear is one of the best light armor sets in the game – it massively improves stamina regeneration, adrenaline point generation and provides an immense increase in attack power. Level 34 is required to wear the armor and wield the swords.
Mastercrafted Feline Steel Sword
Go to Kaer Gelen, on Ard Skellig. When you reach the gate, go around the castle, to the left. There’s a side entrance on the left side – go through it. You’ll be welcomed by a couple of level 29 wraiths. Go down the stairs and enter the tiny side-room. The diagram is in the chest.
Mastercrafted Feline Silver Sword
The diagram is hidden in a cave east of Harviken, on Faroe. The entrance is easy to miss – it’s a bit higher on a cliff. Follow the tunnel to find the chest with the blueprint.
Mastercrafted Feline Armor, Gautlets, Trousers and Boots
There’s a coastal cave in a gulf south of Trottheim, also on Faroe. You’ll have to fight a bunch of level 13 sirens in front of the cave. When you enter, just go straight ahead – when you pass the intersection, you’ll see a stone pillar. The chest with the diagrams is behind it.
Required Crafting Materials
The materials you’ll need for crafting consist of leather, metal ingots, monster bits and alchemical substances. Most of them can be obtained by dismantling other items. Those that can’t can be bought in shops. You’ll need to visit a Master Armorer to craft the outfit, and a Master Blacksmith for the swords.
Thanks for the guide. It’s annoying the game doesn’t tell you there’s another level to the whole set….I was under the impression superior was the end until blood and wine. Crafting the whole set is so expensive, I even sold everything I didn’t need and still wasn’t enough. Left the grandmaster with like 40k in gold
Edit: The entire steel sword description is ass-backwards. Turn RIGHT at the gate, go UP the stairs to the small room on the left. Otherwise a great guide.
I havent been playing for a while, But when I started up the game today, it unequipped both my mastercrafted Feline Swords and the Chestpiece, It suddenly requires level 34 to equip. Same for everyone?
turns out the turnable statues are useless, but if you want some shitty loot you can make em all sparkle then a door opens
the real armor is in a chest when you enter the left cave tunnel
just use cat and your witcher senses
It’s upsetting that the guide for finding the armor on this one is so poor. The arrow isn’t helping at all. Why is there no image of you stood next to the chest? Appreciate the other armor guides up to this point.
this is to help not do it for you like seiously get a life and figure it out ur self the people who made this guide didnt have no pic of someone standing next to the chest

Do you know your left from right? Steel sword is NOT left at the gate, sheesh!

Actually it uneqipped while I was at the barber, I still have the gloves, trousers and boots equipped, but they also require lvl 3
All gear requires level 34 not 30/31
Re: Mastercrafted Feline Steel Sword – You go in the entrance you noted but you go UP the stairs, not down the stairs. It can cause some confusion.

Thanks got em all. What are those turnable statues for? I rotate them but nothing happens. They even sparkle as important loot
Turn all the statues until the sparkle, all 4, and a door will open. Go inside and AARD a loose piece of wall and theres a good loot chest
A note on the Steel Sword Diagram: it should read “Go UP the stairs and go into the tiny side room”…
