It’s designed for level 40 characters, and you’ll need to find the diagrams and own a set of Mastercrafted Feline Armor to get it. This guide is going to show you how to get Grandmaster Feline Armor in Blood and Wine, what it looks like and its stats.

You can start the scavenger hunt by talking to the Grandmaster armorer, or you can follow the guide below. If you need help with any other part of the game, be sure to check out our Witcher 3 Blood and Wine Walkthrough & Guides.

Grandmaster Cat Armor Location

Go to the swamp in the far north of the map, then east until you find a run-down estate. Once you’re at the gate, follow the wall to the right. Climb the broken scaffolding to get inside. You’ll have to fight a bunch of drunken bandits. Once you’ve dispatched them, go into the red house with the white door and turn left. You’ll find the diagram in a safe behind a painting.

Grandmaster Feline Trousers & Boots

These two can be found in the Arthach Palace Ruins, in the middle of the northern swamp. The ruins are home to a Hansa camp, so you’ll have to fight quite a few bandits. Climb the broken bridge from the south and follow it all the way to the large bonfire. You’ll see a chest next to it – this is where the diagrams are.

Grandmaster Feline Steel & Silver Sword, Gauntlets

The final diagrams are located in a monster den a bit south from the swamp (north of Dulcinea Windmill). When you go into the cave, keep following the walls until you reach a gurney. The schematics will be next to it.

Grandmaster Feline Gear Stats

The Cat Armor is one of the best light sets in the game, now made even better with this new upgrade. There are two set bonuses you can get from it. Here are the set bonuses:
  • 3/6 pieces: 10% more fast attack damage for 5 seconds after a strong attack for each piece

If I understand correctly, you HAVE to craft the Mastercrafted set first, then you should be able to craft the grandmaster set. Or did I misunderstood what you mean?

Remake it..FELINE > ENHANCED > SUPERIOR > MASTER > GRAND MASTER. Make each in order

Anyone know where you begin the quest for grand master? Tired of pausing on the map while it shows for a sec.

Or do I have to go to new game + and do everything all over again including all started missions and travel points etc.?? That would be hell of work. 🙁

      1. You need the Mastercrafted part of the set in order to make the Grandmaster one.
