The Witcher 3 Blood & Wine Launch Trailer
CD Projekt Red have released the launch trailer for Blood & Wine, the final Witcher 3 DLC. The video shows off a bunch of characters, plot points, monsters and locations we’ll get to visit.
Keep in mind, the music they chose may not be to your liking.
The plot of the expansion revolves around a beast that’s secretly troubling Toussaint. Geralt gets called in to investigate. There will be a bunch of new characters to meet and talk to, but some old fan-favourites are returning as well. Several quick shots imply we’ll be dealing mostly with vampires this time around. The title of the video (Final Quest) is already making some people speculate that Geralt’s going to die by the end of this DLC.
Of course, it’s probably just a nod to the fact that this is the last time Geralt stars in a video game.
Blood and Wine is going to launch on May 31st, on PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One. If you’ve already bought the season pass, you’ll receive it automatically. If not, you can grab it for $20 from the digital store of your choice.
