Watch Dogs 2 Hack Everything Trailer
Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Watch Dogs 2, called Hack Everything. The new video showcases all kinds of stuff you can do by hacking the ctOS network, which will help you bring the city to its knees.
The thing that first spring to mind are distractions.
A stealthy player will be able to turn the attention of the city’s inhabitants wherever he wants, by carefully commanding the lights and sounds of the streets. This will allow them to move unnoticed and complete their objectives without violence. The video shows how hacking can tie into combat as well – remotely controlling cars, running over enemies with them and creating cover in the middle of a fight are only some of the options.
Hacking will obviously be central to the game, both in theme and mechanics. So far, it seems seamlessly integrated into the world, being a useful tool instead of a hindrance.
Watch Dogs 2 will come out on November 15th, on PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One. The first game didn’t fare so well with players and critics – hopefully with the new one, the developers will have learned from their mistakes.
