Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader Celebrates 500k Copies Sold With Huge 1.1 Patch and Accolades Trailer
It’s been several months since Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader was released in December 2023. During that time, the game has been praised both by fans of WH40k and fans of classic isometric RPGs alike. And it’s not hard to see why, as WH40k:RT is filled with memorable characters, engaging battles, a deep character building system, and – perhaps most importantly – really nails the Warhammer 40k esthetic and lore. As such, it’s no wonder that the game has been very successful, and that it has – to date – sold over 500.000 copies across all platforms. And in order to celebrate this, developers Owlcat have recently put out their biggest patch yet – patch 1.1 – and a brand-new Accolades Trailer.
WH40k: Rogue Trader Sells 500k Copies Across All Platforms
Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader is available on PC via Steam and Epic Game Store, on the Xbox Series X/S, and on the PlayStation 5. And Owlcat have recently announced that they passed the half million copies sold milestone.
Rogue Trader Patch 1.1
Though very impressive in size and ambition, RT was plagued with all sorts of technical and balance issues when it was first released. And while many of these problems have been resolved in the meantime, the latest Patch 1.1 is by far the biggest and most extensive patch yet. You can read the full patch notes here. The highlights of this patch include: new VA for the Prologue and banters between party members, combate balance overhaul, balances to your Space Marine companion, Ulfar, and several hundred bugfixes both major and minor.
Rogue Trader Accolades Trailer
And to celebrate this momentous occassion and milestone, Owlcat have put together a new Accolades Trailer that you can see directly below. We can look forward to more WH40k: Rogue Trader adventures in the future, as there are two DLCs on the way as part of the Season Pass – Void Shadows in June 2024, and Lex Imperialis in December 2024.
