Rogue Trader Coop Multiplayer
Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is, in many regards, a very different game from their previous two titles – Pathfinder: Kingmaker and Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. Besides taking place in an entirely different setting, it also features a new gameplay system and many new features. One of these is the ability to play in co-op mode with your friends. So if you were wondering how does Coop Multiplayer work in Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader, we are going to explain everything you need to know about it right here in this guide.
How Does Co-Op Multiplayer Work in Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader?
Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader features up to six player co-op. To begin playing in coop, start the game and look for the “Cooperative Mode” button on the Main Screen. It is right above the Exit option. When you press it, this will take you to a screen explaining how this works. The first step is to either create your own lobby, or to join an existing one. Next, you need to make sure that you are all playing on the same server region and version of the game. You will receive a lobby code that all the players need to use to join the game. All that’s left is to select the save game that you want to use and you can then jump into the game and start playing with your friends.
There are a couple of more things that you need to be aware of here. First of all, your friends can join you at any point in the story campaign. And when you begin a co-op game, one player is going to assume the role of the Lord Captain – essentially the main character. This character is going to call all the (important) shots in the game and be responsible for making all the big decisions. Of course, you and your fellow players can always come to an agreement over these decisions beforehand. The co-op feature is an excellent addition to WH40k: Rogue Trader, and we’re sure that many players are going to have a lot of fun playing this game alongside their friends.
