Recently, Uncharted 4 won Best Game at the British Academy Game Awards. The UK International Business Times took the chance to interview Arne Meyer, the director of communications in Naughty Dog. He talked a little bit about the upcoming story DLC, called Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, and hinted that it could be fairly lengthy. Here’s what he had to say.

“Years ago, when we were asked if we were ever doing a single player expansion for Uncharted we always said, ‘Well, we don’t have the self-discipline to do that’. If we tried to do that we’d create a full game. There’s no way we could, sort of, constrict and restrain ourselves, and that’s exactly what was happening here. When we were doing story pitches, we were coming up with a game that would be over ten hours long and so we suddenly realised everything we said was true and we couldn’t keep it short.”

The protagonist of The Lost Legacy is Chloe Frazer, and Nadine Ross seems to feature prominently as well. This might mean that we’re in for some interesting character development during the adventure. Chloe is a master thief, so she’s not exactly black and white. Additionally, Nadine didn’t exactly have the best of relationship with the Drakes, but she seems much friendlier towards Nadine. Additionally, it seems The Lost Legacy won’t feature usual protagonist Nathan Drake at all.

There’s no set release date for The Lost Legacy yet. We’ll be sure to keep you posted as soon as more information comes out.
