Uncharted 4 Survival Mode Announced
Sony have announced the addition of Survival Mode to Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. They’ve released a video, detailing the intricacies of the coop mode that will pit a handful of friends against waves of enemies.
Here’s the official statement:
There will also be several challenges, like parkouring around the map, collecting treasures while time slips away. The video contains a scene where players try to take down a zombie pirate, which seems incredibly silly but also fun. Most of it will take place in existing maps, but there were a few glimpses of a new environment as well.
If you haven’t already played through the game, now is a great time. The new regime is going to be added before the holidays, so you have time to get to know the game before you jump into the coop action. Black Friday is also coming, so it’s entirely possible that you’ll be able to snag it at a discount.
Many players are asking for a singleplayer DLC at this point, but we’re not going to look a gift horse in the mouth.
