Uncharted 4 Multiplayer Getting New Skins, Character and Mode
The next update for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End multiplayer is set to come out on the same day as The Lost Legacy spin-off – August 22nd. It features skins inspired by the Lost Legacy, a new playable character and a cooperative mode called Survival Arena.
To celebrate the launch of the next Uncharted title, its protagonists will be added to Uncharted 4 multiplayer in the next update. Chloe and Nadine were already there, but now they will be getting new skins based on character models and outfits from the new game. Looking good there, girls.
The main villain from the next chapter is making his debut in multiplayer. We got to see the temperamental Asav in the E3 extended gameplay trailer. He’ll be present in multiplayer, and he’ll even have unique voice over lines.
The new cooperative challenge mode is called Survival Arena. It is a new take on the existing Survival mode, featuring new things like:
- Over 100 new waves with new enemy types
- New Siege zones
- All-new wave modifiers
Participating in Survival Arena will net you cool prizes, like the Savage Starlight Skeleton skins. They are only unlockable through this game mode, so you’ll have to at least try it out.
You can enjoy this update, and the rest of the multiplayer content, even if you don’t own one of the games they’re tied to. They’re available with both Uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy, and you can play if you have at least one. You can even team up with the players from the other game.
The next entry in the franchise, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, comes out on August 22nd. There is a special live stream planned from Naughty Dog on Monday, August 21st. It will lead up to the exact moment when the game is supposed to go live on the PlayStation Store.
