Perfect Decipher or Forced Decipher Type I Password Chests Tower of Fantasy
In our Perfect Decipher or Forced Decipher Type I Password Chests Tower of Fantasy guide, we’re going to cover a fairly important yet somewhat under-explained mechanic. Basically, we’re going to show you whether you should choose to open these chests using the perfect or forced method, and what the difference is. We’ll also explain how to get more Type I Password Keys or Chips, which are necessary for the Perfect Decipher.
Should You Choose Perfect Decipher or Forced Decipher for Type I Password Chests in Tower of Fantasy
Whether you choose Perfect Decipher or Forced Decipher for the Tower of Fantasy Type I Password Chests depends entirely on whether or not you have a Type I Password Key, or Chip. It also hinges on whether or not you’re prepared to sacrifice some rewards (and their quality) in case you don’t have a Chip. See, using the Perfect Decipher to open the chest consumes the Password Keys, but you get more materials as a result, and they’re usually also of higher quality. On the other hand, a Forced Decipher doesn’t require any Password Chips, but you’ll receive less materials, and of lesser quality to boot. So, pick your poison. You could probably go and earn a Key and then come back to the chest, but those sadly aren’t super-common. That brings us to out next point.
How to Get More Type I Password Keys
There are several ways that you can get Type I Password Keys or Chips in Tower of Fantasy and therefore even give yourself a chance to choose between Perfect Decipher or Forced Decipher. Your main source of the Chips are going to be Bounty Missions and Weekly Missions. They won’t always necessarily grant you these, but they are a pretty safe bet. Also, you get a couple of these Keys at the very start, which is nice. Last, and arguably least, when you use a Perfect Decipher to open the Type I Password chests, there’s a chance that you’ll find a Chip among the loot. Again, no guarantees, but it’s neat that it can happen.
