Not only is that really useful in general, but it is pretty much necessary for upgrading, as we’ll see in a bit. Lastly, you’re going to want to build an Auto Shop facility in your outpost.
Where to Find State of Decay 2 Vehicle Upgrade Kits?
You’ll be able to find Vehicle Upgrade Kits In State of Decay 2 at some traders out in the open world. However, these are going to be pretty few and far between. Instead, your most reliable source of Vehicle Upgrade Kits will be your engineer that’s specialized in automechanics working in the Auto Shop. That’s why we’ve mentioned the two in the previous section. So, in short, your best bet to get Vehicle Upgrade Kits in State of Decay 2 will be crafting.
Once you manage to craft a Vehicle Upgrade kit, make sure that you have the vehicle that you want to upgrade parked in the Parking area of your outpost. Then, use the kit to turn your ordinary car into a total beast of the Apocalypse. Choose carefully, though, since, again, Vehicle Upgrade kits are hard to come by.
