Starfield Hide Helmet and Spacesuit
There are many important things that you need to look out for in RPGs. Your stats, quests, gear, factions, companions, and so on. But while all of these are undoubtedly very important, you can’t disregard our need to look as good as we possibly can while doing all of these things. This includes character appearance customization options, such as having the ability to toggle your helmet and spacesuit visibility on and off. So can you hide your helmet and spacesuit in Starfield as well? Thankfully, this is indeed possible in the game, though it does come with some caveats. Here’s how it works and what you need to know about this option.
How to Hide Helmet and Spacesuit in Starfield
Luckily, this is something that is very easy to do in Starfield. All that you need to do is to press the RB button on your Xbox controller. Doing this is going to cause your helmet and spacesuit to no longer be visible, allowing you to see what your character looks like underneath the spacegear. Go into your inventory and then first select your spacesuit and press RB, and then your helment and press RB and you will have hidden both of them. Though, note that you won’t be able to do this at every location in the game.
The hide helmet and spacesuit option in Starfield is only available in settlements and other breathable areas such as them. This means that you won’t be able to toggle this on and off while in space and other locations where there’s no breathable air and you need the helmet and spacesuit in order to survive there. Of course, it’s always possible that Bethesda is going to change how this works in a future update. And this is likely something that is going to be changed by mods – so that you can hide the helmet and spacesuit regardless of where you are in Starfield – very soon.
