SW Jedi Fallen Order Scomp Link Location - Repair

Scomp link is one of the droid tools in Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order. Once you find it, you’ll be able to install it onto BD-1, which will allow him to cut through Imperial tech. In more practical terms, this means you’ll be able to open up a bunch of chests that were previously locked. When you first encounter one of them, a pop-up will tell you you need to repair the scomp link. If you’re wondering how to do this, our Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order scomp link location guide will explain everything.

How to repair scomp link?

When you first run into a locked Imperial chest, you’ll be greeted by a message saying the scomp link must be repaired to operate this device. The truth is, you can’t really salvage it – BD-1’s own scomp link is broken beyond repair. However, you can replace it with a brand new copy.

You’ll find it during a mission on Zeffo, during your second visit. When you get the objective to inspect the giant Zeffo statue, you’ll know you’re on the right track. The quest objective will lead you into a secret bunker under the base of the statue, in the Weathered Monument area. Once you’re inside, just follow the marker to a workbench with an orange pad on it. When you approach it, you’ll see a pop-up that prompts you to acquire the upgrade.

Once you’ve got it, you’ll be able to return to Bogano and interact with all the Imperial chests you’ve found earlier. They’re the dark green ones with the red lights and a steel bar blocking the lid. Your pet droid’s new tool will cut through them with ease. There might be other uses for the scomp link, but we haven’t discovered any yet.
