Star Wars Battlefront 2 Preorder & Deluxe Edition Bonuses Revealed

Star Wars Battlefront 2 (or Battlefront 2 The Second) is officially out of the bag. It’s going to come out on November 17th with a full-fledged singleplayer campaign, it’s going to let us play across different eras of the SW universe, and it looks more ambitious than the first one (the second first one). Now we also know what you’ll get for preordering the game, as well as which goodies come with the deluxe edition.

If you decide to buy Star Wars Battlefront 2, Jr. before it’s released, you’ll get to dress up Kylo Ren and Rey into their costumes from The Last Jedi. The change won’t be entirely cosmetic, as you’ll get some ability modifiers for both of them as well, and some equipment for the Millenium Falcon.

If you want the fancy deluxe edition of Star Wars Battlefront 2-II, be prepared to part with $80. In exchange, you can expect to get:

  • All of the preorder bonuses
  • Early access to the game – you’ll start on November 14th, three days before the unwashed masses
  • Slightly better versiont of officer, assault, heavy and specialist trooper classes
  • An epic ability upgrade for each of the above
  • Not having to wait for weapon & mod unlocks

If that sounds good to you, you can head over to the official site and shell over money for a product that doesn’t exist yet. Or you can wait for it to be released, like most people do. Whatever, it’s up to you. Keep in mind that, if it’s early access you’re looking for, it’s much better to spend some cash on the EA Access / Origin Access and get it even earlier, albeit in a limited form. Unless you’re playing on a PS4. In that case, no earlies for you.

Star Wars Battlefront 2, the fourth game in the Star Wars Battlefront series, will be released on November 17th, on PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One. And before you ask – a Switch version is highly unlikely.
