Star Citizen Alpha 2.1 Goes Live
Roberson Space Industries have announced that a new update for Star Citizen has gone live. The Alpha 2.1 adds a new weapon, some new (as well as some old) ships, a new location and a bunch of fixes.
The MISC Freelancer and the Aegis Vanguard Warden have been put up for sale, along with some older Aegis ships that were out of stock until now.
Most importantly, the bug with the disappearing bathroom door on the Vanguard has been fixed. All is as it should be.
You can peruse the full list of changes on the official blog – there’s quite a few things there. Star Citizen is expected to launch fully within this year, but no firm release dates have been given yet.

There’s a new mission available at the Covalex Shipping hub, which has different paths and several endings, depending on how you approach it and what you discover. The weapon that was added to the game is the Apocalypse Arms REVENANT ballistic Gatling gun.
