Spider-Man PS4 Game of the Year Edition Released

Sony has announced, and, indeed, already released the Game of the Year Edition of Marvel’s Spider-Man, the PS4 exclusive that took the world by storm last year. It didn’t really surprise me that Marvel’s Spider-Man on the PlayStation 4 ended up as a hit. However, I don’t think many people, me included, knew just how well it was going to do, becoming one of the most successful games of 2018. It has done so well, that it has earned itself a Game of the Year edition. So, if you haven’t secured yourself a copy of Spider-Man, you’ve actually kinda made the smarter choice. The GOTY edition, as is usually the case, is a way better value for your money.

So, what exactly are you getting if you pick up this version of Marvel’s Spider-Man? Well, according to the announcement on PlayStation Blog, you’ll get the full game, plus a voucher for the “City That Never Sleeps” three-chapter post-game story DLC. The whole bundle is gonna set you back $40, which is a bargain, really. You can pick up Spider-Man GOTY either on the PlayStation Store, or at your local retailer, if said retailer stocks it. So, yeah; this is basically the best time to jump onto the Spidey bandwagon, if you’re late to the party. I might even get myself a copy.
