Soulmask Clay Locations

There are many, many locations in Soulmask where you can find clay. In fact, whenever you’re near a lake, a pond or a river, odds are there’s some clay in the vicinity. Specifically, what you’re looking for are what looks like large boulders made of mud. You can see what they look like in the screenshot below. The only thing you need now is the right tool, and fortunately for you, a good ole stone pickaxe will do just fine. If you don’t know how to make one, it only requires one branch and one stone or flint. Mine the muddy rocks, and most of them will drop about ten or so units of clay until they break completely. It depends from rock to rock, but you get the general idea.

Break the muddy boulders

So, yeah, that’s where you find locations of clay in Soulmask – break the muddy boulders next to bodies of water. That’s all there is to it. I feel like the main issue here is that you’d expect to dig mud or something like that. But, no – you need to use the pickaxe to break big rocks. Feels like this game is both simpler and more complicated than it has any right to be, right? And as for what you need the clay for, well, it’s a pretty common crafting resource. There are many different items that require clay, so the sooner you get to mining it, the better, just like stone and wood.
