Shadow of Mordor Artifact locations guide - Sea of Nurnen Map
On the second map, The Sea of Nurnen, players can collect 23 shining objects named Artifacts. Each Artifact rewards you with 50 Mirian, and upon collecting them all you’ll be rewarded with the Shadows of the Ancient Past achievement.

Ritual Cup (32nd on the Artifact list)
Near the stone bridge.
Frolum’s Ring (34th on the Artifact list)
In the south-eastern part of the map look for the Artifact on top of the ruins.
Blood-Stained Buckler (29th on the Artifact list)
Enter the cave and you will find the artifact.
Coded Journal Entry #2 (30th on the Artifact list)
Enter the Wraith world and you will see collectible on the ground, at the bottom of the structure.
Lockbox Key (40 on the Artifact list)
Jump onto the wall and sneak between Uruk soldiers. When you reach the bridge jump down and look for the artifact under the bridge.
Herald’s Scroll (20th on the Artifact list)
Climb up on the top of the stronghold and look for the collectible item inside the tent.
Star Chart (35th on the Artifact list)
When you reach ruined bridge look down and you will see an entrance into a small hidden room. Inside the room you will find the Artifact.
Gondorian Coin (38th on the Artifact list)
On the top of the ruins.
Scrimshaw, Mumak Tusk (27th on the Artifact list)
Inside the room under the bridge.
Torn Banner (42nd on the Artifact list)
On the ground, near the ruins.
Be aware of nearby Caragorns.
Whetstone (26th on the Artifact list)
In the central part of the map look for the collectible on the ground next to the bridge.
Broken Staff (36th on the Artifact list)
Climb up to the top of the wooden platform.
Cook’s Knife (24th on the Artifact list)
On ground, in the grass, between the ladder and pile of hay.
Apothecary Jar (33rd on the Artifact list)
In the corner, at the bottom of the wooden structure.

Inside the cave.

Bellow the small wooden bridge.

On ground, near the lonely stone pillar.

In the southwestern part of the map, you will find an entrance to the cave.
Look for the Artifact inside the cave, on the top of the stone structure.
Orcish Dagger (39th on the Artifact list)
Use the Zip line to reach the wooden structure. Look for the collectible item on the ground, behind the wooden structure.
Pipeweed Pouch (28th on the Artifact list)
When you reach a wooden shack with a huge shark jaws hanging above the entrance, climb up on the rooftop, near the stone chimney.
Mortar and Pestle (41st on the Artifact list)
Hidden on this wooden platform on the northernmost part of the map.
