How to Defeat Shinobi Hunter Enshin in Sekiro – Tips & Tricks
To beat Shinobi Hunter Enshin boss in Sekiro, the first step would be to dispatch the low-danger mobs that are near him. Be stealthy about it, you don’t want Enshin noticing you this early on. Then, hide among the huge, purple flowers, and approach Shinobi Hunter that way. Wait for him to be in the range of your stealth attack, and spring into action when the opportunity comes. This should blow one health bar clean off, making the battle much easier.
The rest of the battle, though, you’ll be face to face with Shinobi Hunter Enshin. In this part, the Mikiri Counter skill will be of paramount importance (for more info, check out our Sekiro Best Starting Skills guide). Basically, you should dodge Enshin’s slashing attacks. But, when he goes for a thrust attack, telegraphed by the red letter above head, you have to execute the counter. You do this by tilting the left stick towards the enemy and hitting the Dodge button.
If you execute it correctly, this will fill up a lot of the Posture meter, and leave the enemy open to one or two attacks. Keep doing this until you chip away enough health, or until Shinobi Hunter Enshin’s Posture meter is full enough to deliver the Death Blow. If at first you don’t succeed, try and try again. It might take a couple attempts, but it will work.
