How to Get Sea of Thieves Treasure for Eternity Commendation in Captains of the Damned

To get the Treasure for Eternity commendation in the Sea of Thieves Captains of the Damned Tall Tale, the first step is to get the Mercado Key. You find that in the square with a well, the one where the ghosts are torturing people. Explore the square until you get the key. Once you have that, proceed through the village until you get to the building with the clock tower and the word MERCADO written on the front. Go to the right side of the building, and you’ll find a door with the letter “M” and a lantern above it. Use the Mercado Key on it.

After you unlock the door, head inside and go up the stairs. At the top of the stairs, you’ll see an open window with a torch just outside it. Light the torch with your lantern. You can also read the note on the wall if you want to, but it’s not a must. The next step to get the Captains of the Damned Treasure for Eternity commendation in Sea of Thieves is to go back outside and around the building to the other side. Follow the path leading to the dock and get into the boat.

As soon as you get into the boat, a ghostly dinghy will appear in front of you. Follow it the whole way around the island until you see the two occupants digging. Take out your own shovel and dig in the same spot to find the chest called Villager’s Valuables. Pick it up and hand it over to the two skeletons that are sitting in your own boat. The commendation should pop up.
