How to Start Sea of Thieves: A Pirate's Life

A Pirate’s Life in Sea of Thieves is the first of several Tall Tales, which are a new type of mission that you can find in the game, and people are wondering how to start them. How to Start A Pirate’s Life Tall Tale in Sea of Thieves

To start the Sea of Thieves A Pirate’s Life Tall Tale (and indeed all of the Tall Tale missions), the first step is to visit the Castaway’s Camp. These are new locations that you can find in any Outpost that’s closest to you. They are relatively easy to find; just look for a rickety shack with a tattered green awning above the door. Once you get there, you can talk with the Castaway if you want to; it’s the woman in the orange hood. She only gives you some flavor dialogue, basically, but still, it’s neat for all you lore-lovers.

In order to start A Pirate’s Life, though, head into the shack and find the books on the wall. There are five of them, each representing one of the Tall Tale missions, and A Pirate’s Life is the first one. Approach it and interact with it by pressing the action button. After that, the whole crew will have to vote to go on the adventure. To start the Sea of Thieves A Pirate’s Life Tall Tale, the majority has to agree. Once that happens, go into your Quests inventory to get going.

Quick side note: as we’ve said, you start all Tall Tales from the Castaway’s Camp by interacting with the books in the shack. However, you won’t be able to access all of them right away. Instead, they’ll unlock one by one as you complete the previous ones.
