Rise Of The Tomb Raider Gamescom Trailer Released
Rise of The Tomb Raider was shown at Gamescom, during the Microsoft conference. The presentation had actual gameplay footage, and quite a lot of it, too.
Being able to murder people in many ways is what’s Tomb Raider is all about. The developers claim they’re going to outdo themselves in terms of scope, and we’ll have lots to do in this giant world, like exploring, hunting, raiding tombs, etc. The part shown is all about the killing, though. You can approach enemies silenty, jump on top of them, shoot them with arrows, use diversions to get them where you want them – or you can just pull out a gun and start shooting.
Although short, the second part of the video captures what many fans have come to want and expect from a Tomb Raider game – climbing, falling, crawling, swimming and getting that precious loot off a dead man. Rise of The Tomb Raider is a timed Microsoft exclusive, which means it’ll show up on Xbox One on November 13th, while the other platforms will have to wait a bit longer.
The video focuses on combat, stealth, and honest-to-god tomb raiding.
