Piano Puzzle Resident Evil 8 Village
The Resident Evil 8 Village piano puzzle awaits you in Castle Dimitrescu, and you need to solve it to get the Iron Insignia Key. As is the case with all these classic piano puzzles in every horror game ever, you need to play the melody shown on the music sheet when you examine the piano. This is not the easiest task in the world, especially if you know nothing about reading music, but the game does plenty to help you out. If you’re struggling with how to solve the piano puzzle, then our Piano Puzzle Resident Evil 8 Village guide is the right place for you.
How to Solve Piano Puzzle in Resident Evil Village
To solve the Resident Evil 8 Village piano puzzle in the opera room, you have to press the keys in the correct order to play the melody. However, compared to similar puzzles in previous horror games, this one is much simpler. All you have to do is hit the keys until the little orange dot meets the note on the music sheet. You can do this for every single note, and you’ll eventually get it. Yes, you can literally brute-force the puzzle, and it doesn’t seem to have any fail state whatsoever. If you don’t wanna waste time, though, check out the solution in the screenshots and video below.
As we’ve already mentioned, the piano puzzle is in the Opera Room. That’s in Castle Dimitrescu, to the north of the Courtyard. If you don’t know where to find it, check out the first screenshot below (or, indeed, the video, if you prefer). Once you figure out how to solve the Resident Evil 8 Village piano puzzle, the full song will play, and a secret compartment will open, in which you’ll find the Iron Insignia Key. That opens several previously closed doors with the same symbol, including the one to the Hanging Torch and Coffin puzzle.
Incidentally, the song that plays after you solve the piano puzzle is Sogno by Francesco Paolo Tosti, I believe. Feel free to correct me in the comments if I got it wrong, because I’m not 100% sure.
