Resident Evil 7 - Two Weeks at No.1 in UK Sales
Resident Evil 7 holds the first place in Xbox One sales in the United Kingdom, according to UK retail charts. This is the second week in a row at the top, according to GfK Chart-Track. If Resident Evil 7 stays first for one more week, it will match the record that Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 3 had. Resident Evil 7 is a great title, and it wouldn’t be a surprise if it stayed at the top even longer.
These great results in sales will definitely make Capcom continue with the same formula, since many fans were skeptic about the first person approach in Resident Evil 7. It worked pretty well, making the feel of the game much more realistic, while exploring the dark corners of the Baker mansion. If you have the VR headset for PlayStation 4, you are definitely in for a treat.
Resident Evil 7 recently received the first part of its downloadable content, called Banned Footage Vol. 1, featuring some new interesting game modes. The first game mode is called Ethan Must Die, where you will begin the game with just a knife, while exploring the extremely guarded Baker Mansion. It is very tough, and each time you die, you will respawn at the beginning of the map.
The second game mode is called Nightmare, where you will be playing as cameraman Clancy . Multiple waves of enemies will attack you in certain periods of time, while you craft your weapons and traps, hoping to survive.
The last one is called Bedroom. Clancy must figure out how to get out of a locked bedroom, while solving interesting puzzles and avoiding Marguerite Baker, who will visit you a few times, and check if are you still in the bed.
Also coming on February 21st is Banned Footage Vol. 2, with game modes called Jack’s 55th Birthday, 21 and Daughters.
