The Warhorse pre-order bonus in RDR2 is one of several bonuses in Red Dead Redemption 2 you can get for pre-ordering. However, you can’t get the RDR 2 War Horse pre-order bonus mount immediately after starting the game. In fact, you’ll have to wait until Chapter 2, and go to a specific location to pick up your onus mount. RDR2 War Horse Pre-Order Bonus – How to get & where to find?

To get the War Horse pre-order bonus in Red Dead Redemption 2, you’ll have to take the quest “Exit Pursued by a Bruised Ego” from Hosea. In order to get to this quest, though, you’ll first have to complete the first chapter. Basically, you’ll have to get out of the snow before you get the RDR 2 War Horse. Once you get to the point when you and your gang have established a camp, at the start of Chapter 2, you can then talk to Hosea and pick up the quest.

In the “Exit Pursued by a Bruised Ego” quest, Hosea will ask you to ride his horse to town and help him sell it. Follow Hosea to the town; specifically, he’ll take you to Amos Levi Blacksmith & Farrier. Ride the horse into the store to trigger a dialogue cutscene with the shopkeeper. After that, you’ll be able to buy a horse from the store. There are three horses that you have to pay for, and two that are free. The first one is a black Thoroughbred with a cool mark on the forehead. The second one is Ardennes, which is a gray War Horse. All you have to do is take the horse, and start the bonding process.
