Red Dead Redemption 2 Vomit Rope Technique Cancels Fall Damage
The vomit roe technique in Red Dead Redemption 2 lets you basically rappel down any cliff by using your sick. Well, not really. It’s using the puking animation to cancel out the fall damage. It’s way more entertaining to imagine it’s your trail of sick letting you Spider-Man your way down.
Does this happen to you? You take a wrong turn in RDR2 and end up on top of a cliff, and you don’t feel like trekking all the way back and around? Well, we have a solution for you! All you have to do is cram your guts full of something that’ll make you blow chunks. Then, as you start to hurl, hurl yourself right off that cliff. Your chunder will extend into a lovely rope above you, and you’ll land safely on the jagged rocks below, light as a feather. It’s a miracle!
Yes, players are still not done finding new and inventive ways to break Red Dead Redemption 2. The latest, and one of my favorite, is the technique affectionately dubbed vomit rope. All you have to do is consume anything that forces your character to puke. For example, bullrush is a pretty perfect choice. You can then safely walk off a cliff, and the vomiting animation will cancel out any fall damage. Yes, you will take some damage from eating the bullrush, but it certainly beats splatting yourself on the ground.
Now, yes, of course, you don’t have to do all this. You can make your way down nice and careful. But that takes forever, and most certainly isn’t nearly as fun.
