RDR2 PC How to Change Language
Changing the language in Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC is one of the many problems that people have been experiencing. Even though their Rockstar launcher is in English, the game seems to match with your local settings. And, there doesn’t seem to be any way to change the Red Dead Redemption 2 language settings on PC in-game. However, there is a way to work around this issue, fortunately. With all that said, let’s take a look at how to change language settings in Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC.
How to Change Language in Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC?
To change the in-game language in Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC, you’re gonna have to change the language of your entire system to English. Even if your Rockstar launcher is in English, the game is gonna change its language to whatever your Windows is set to. So, if, let’s say, your Windows is set to German, Red Dead Redemption 2 is gonna be in German. So, yeah; switch your system to English and restart the game. Now, everything should be in English, as intended; the menu, subtitles, the whole lot.
Yes, the other games you might have on the launcher do not have the same problem, but RDR2 does, god knows why. I assume this is an error on Rockstar’s end; hopefully, they’re gonna fix the issue at some point soon. When it comes to game launches, Red Dead Redemption 2 is surprisingly rocky. There’s a host of different problems you’re likely to encounter even before the language situation slaps you across the face. Until Rockstar does address it, now you know at least one walkaround. If you do have a different solution, please, leave it in the comments.

-> Nope.
My Windows is in French. My launcher is in English. RDR2 was initially in French. So I left the game, changed my launcher’s language setting to French and back to English. When I restarted the game, it was in English.
WBW (Weird But Works).
I confirm that this worked for me.
