RDR2 Elemental Trail Treasure Map Location

Elemental Trail is a treasure map in Red Dead Redemption 2. It’s a new one, and it came in an update that coincided with the release of the PC version of the game. Like all the other treasure maps, you’ll first have to find a drawing. Once you do, you’ll need to identify the landscape on it, and go there. If you manage to solve it, you’ll find gold bars and other items of value. You might have trouble finding the map, or figuring out the place it represents. Where to find Elemental Trail treasure map?

The entire treasure hunt takes place in New Austin, in the southwest of the map. It’ll only become available after you’ve finished the epilogue. You’ll find the first treasure map on the shores of the Sea of Coronado, southwest of Tumbleweed. You’ll find a corpse hanging from a cliff on a rope – shoot the rope and loot the body to get the map. It’ll show the picture of a fireplace with a chimney in the middle of nothing.

The fireplace is part of ruined house. You’ll find it on the coast of the San Luis River, southeast of Armadillo, east of Lake Don Julio. If you zoom in on the map, you’ll see the house is marked. Once you reach it, go to the fireplace and search it. You’ll find the second treasure map there. It shows what looks like a water tower and some pipes.

Turns out it really is a water tower. You’ll find it at Benedict Point, a train station southeast from Tumbleweed. There’s a gutter on stilts next to it, running from a tank on the hillside to the train tracks. Go up the hill and follow the gutter until you’re in front of the water tower. You’ll get a prompt to search between the boards. You’ll find the third and final map there – it shows two crosses.

The treasure is buried in a church graveyard – the cross on the left is the one on the church’s roof, and the one on the right is a grave marker. You’ll find the church near Armadillo, at the end of a the fork leading southeast. Once you reach the church, stand in front of the entrance and head right. Look for a wooden cross directly under a tree. There will be a loose rock on the grave, and under it – your treasure.

The treasure includes a special horse stimulant, special horse medicine, a gold bar and a Crow Beak Trinket. That last one increases the amount of ammo you loot by 10%.
