Red Dead Redemption 2 Dreamcatcher Locations
Dreamcatchers are a kind of collectible in Red Dead Redemption 2. They’re Native American artefacts, consisting of a wooden hoop with a web of strings inside it. They’re used as protective charms, and you’ll find twenty of them scattered around the map in RDR 2. Where to find dreamcatchers in Red Dead Redemption 2?
You’ll find several of them hanging from a tree at each location. Approach and interact with any of them, and they’ll register in your completion list. The first one we found was near Valentine, in the Heartlands area. The Heartlands are northeast of Valentine, and the tree with the dreamcatchers is in the middle of a meadow near the letter N on the map.
Now, you’ll get nothing at all when you visit each of them individually. The game won’t even notify you you’ve visited a place that’s out of the ordinary. The only change you’ll see is if you open up the menu, and look under the progress section. Scroll down to the bottom of the collectibles part, and you’ll see the number of dreamcatchers has increased by one. The description on the top left says something about finding them all, noting their positions (they’re marked on the map once you collect them), then seeing what you think. Their locations on the map might form a shape that hints towards something bigger, but we’re mostly hoping for a new perk or at least some kind of reward.
