Cleaning your clothes in RDR2 is one of the many game mechanics. There are several ways to clean clothes in Red Dead Redemption 2. This is sometimes necessary to do, as some NPCs will react to you negatively if you and your clothes are dirty. How to Clean Clothes in Red Dead Redemption 2?
To clean your clothes in RDR2, there are several options you can choose between. For one, you can take a bath. There are several bath locations in hotels scattered around the map that you can use to take the grime off of yourself and your clothes. One example is the one in Annesburg, which we’ve provided below. If no hotels are around, you can take a swim in a river or lake or other nearby suitable body of water to clean your clothes and yourself.
However, there will be situations where neither baths or rivers will be nearby. Fortunately, there is a method to clean your clothes on the go, without getting wet at all. First off, hop onto your horse. Then, press and hold L1 and go into your Horse Inventory menu. Go to the bottom of the wheel, aka the section where you change your outfit. Change your outfit into whatever you want. Your previous outfit will come out pristine. Just, in case you have a custom outfit, remember to save it in your wardrobe and have it on your horse, so as not to lose it.
There’s also the third option. You can simply kill yourself. I’m serious. If you’re dirty, you can just kill yourself, and you’ll respawn clean as a whistle.
