Rage 2 Vehicle Locations - Bike, Monster Truck, Tank, Combat Vehicle
Vehicle locations in Rage 2 are a fairly important thing in the game, seeing as how the different Rage 2 vehicles, like bikes, combat vehicles, tanks, trucks, etc. are your main mode of transportation. The game does start you off with one, but there’s a plethora of different vehicles in Rage 2 to obtain. Some of them you can get through progression, but many will require you to scour the wasteland in search for them. So, our Rage 2 Vehicle Locations – Bike, Monster Truck, Tank, Combat Vehicle guide will explain where you can find the different vehicles in Rage 2, how to get them, and also how to get vehicle weapon upgrades.
NOTE: This guide is a work in progress. We’ll keep updating it with new info as we find it.
Where to Find Vehicles in Rage 2?
To find the different vehicles in Rage 2, you’ll mostly have to explore the wastelands, find the vehicle, then drive it to a Trade Town in order to properly obtain it. Every vehicle marked as “found in wasteland” below means you have to take it to a trade town. Most of these appear only in a specific area under the dominion of one of the gangs. There’s also a handful of vehicles that you’ll unlock by progressing certain tasks in the game. So, without further ado, here’s how you can get vehicles in Rage 2.
Phoenix – Combat Vehicle, unlocks automatically after completing the prologue
Raptor – Supercharged Bike obtained by reaching Level 10 in Capture & Control Project
Icarus – Exploration Vehicle (drone, really) obtained by reaching Level 7 in Search & Recover Project

How to Unlock Vehicle Weapons in Rage 2?
To unlock vehicle weapons in Rage 2, you’ll have to collect Auto Parts in order to upgrade your car. You can find these in Ark Chests, convoys you raid, by participating in races, or by purchasing them from merchants (if you’ve got the cash, of course). Each upgrade is going to cost a certain amount of Auto Parts, and that includes the weapons. Mind you, not every vehicle in Rage 2 has upgrades.
Anyway, once you have some Auto Parts, go into the Vehicles tab in the menu. Highlight the one that you want to upgrade, and select it (X on PlayStation). Find the upgrade you want, and then just select it. If you have sufficient funds, you’ll get the one you want. Each vehicle can have several weapon upgrades. For example, the Phoenix, aka the car you start with, can have 20mm Cannons, a Cruise Missile, and Hellfire Mortar, on top of the Gatling Guns it comes equipped with.
