How to Evolve Shinx Into Luxio Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

To evolve Shinx into Luxio in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, aka the first step towards the Luxray evolution, you need to get it up to level 14. That’s when Shinx evolved for us. It doesn’t require anything else. No special items, no exact time of day, nothing; you just need to keep farming that XP until you hit level 14. The game will automatically evolve Luxray once you’ve wrapped up the fight in which it leveled up. Easy-peasy. If you’re really anxious to get there as soon as possible, consider giving it a Lucky Egg. I mean, it’d probably be of better use on some other Pokemon, but needs must.

Luxio Evolution Into Luxray Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

So, how does the evolution of Luxio into Luxray work in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, now that we know how to evolve Shinx? Once again, you just have to keep grinding those levels, with or without the help of items. In this case, the Pokemon needs to reach level 31. It will stay an Electric-type Pokemon. There are a few Pokemon, like the starters, that become dual-type as they evolve. That’s not the case here, though. That said, Luxray is a pretty good Electric Pokemon to have on your team. It’s powerful, it has a decent health pool, what more could you need? I guess, on second thought, the Lucky Egg might be a good investment here, after all. The choice is up to you.
