Does Pokemon Home Support Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

So, does Pokemon Home support Pokemon Scarlet and Violet? The simplest answer to this question is: not at launch, no. According to the game’s official website, the two will not be compatible before the spring of 2023. There’s no mention of when exactly this will happen, but we’ll be sure to let you know as soon as possible. Once the developers roll out the Scarlet / Violet patch in Pokemon Home, you’ll be able to use it for a lot of useful stuff. For example, you will have the option to “transfer Pokemon from Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet to Pokemon HOME and bring select Pokemon from past games to the Paldea region,” as the post reads. We don’t know which Pokemon you’ll be able to transfer yet.

That, of course, is not the only thing the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Home support is going to be good for. It will also let you view the latest Battle Stadium statistics in the mobile version of the app, including Trainer rankings, frequently used Pokemon, Online Competitions, and more. On top of that, it will allow you to view which moves, Abilities, and held items are being used the most in battles. So, you can kinda observe the meta as it evolves over time, which is sort of neat in its own way. Before we wrap up, one extra bit of info: you will only have the option to transfer Pokemon from Home to the new games if those Pokemon can appear in the Paldea region.
