How to Dash in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Learning how to dash in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet makes traversing the large world of the Paldea region a lot easier and faster. It makes Koraidon, your motorcycle Pokemon, sprint at a much greater speed. Do mind the trees; if you crash into one, a Pokemon lurking in the branches might fall and attack you. How to Get Dash in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

In order to dash in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, the first step is to get the Koraidon mount. This isn’t too much of a problem, since you just have to follow the story, and you’ll get the special Pokemon you can ride automatically. Specifically, you’ll get it after wrapping up the story in Naranja Academy in Mesagoza. However, while you’re still in the Academy, be sure to visit the cafeteria. Once there, talk to the NPC called Arven. That’s the guy with the big, yellow backpack. Agree to help him on his mission, and you’ll get the quest called Path of Legends. It marks five different Titans around the map, which are bosses that you have to defeat.

Now, the next step for us to get the Dash “move” in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet was to go to the Rock Titan, who is in the northeast of the South Province (Area Three). We’ll show you exactly where it is in the screenshots below. What you’re looking for is a giant crab, and you’ll find it crawling around the cliffs in the desert. Its name is Klawf, the Stony Cliff Titan. After you win, go through the “cutscene.” During the scene around the campfire, feed Koraidon your sandwich. That’s how we unlocked its Dash ability. Now, it could be that you’ll get the Dash from the first Titan you beat, and that can be any of them. I can only tell you the steps we took. However you get the Dash, you perform it by pressing the left stick.
