Catch Pokemon in Trees Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you will soon come across Pokemon that are hanging from trees. These Pokemon are situated on top of a tree, meaning that they are out of your reach. This can be very frustrating, especially if you know that there are Pokemon that you want to catch up there, but seemingly can’t. So is there any way for you to catch Pokemon in trees in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet? Luckily, there are several ways you can do this, and we are going to go over all of them right here in this guide.

How to Catch Pokemon in Trees Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

You can do this in one of two ways. The first method requires that you first find and approach a tree that has a Pokemon on top of it. After that, the next step is to enter aiming mode by holding down the left trigger. Aim at the Pokemon that is hanging from the tree and then press the right trigger to throw your Pokeball at it. Doing this will start a battle with the Pokemon that has now left the tree, allowing you to catch it.

The second method involves your bike. Once you have gotten your bike Pokemon – Koraidon if you own Pokemon Scarlet, or Miraidon if you have Pokemon Violet, you will then need to upgrade it. The first bike upgrade that you get will allow you to dash. This dash can then be used to knock down the Pokemon that are up on trees. To do this, drive up to a tree and then dash into it with your bike. Doing this will cause the Pokemon up on it to come tumbling down, and allow you to battle and catch it.
