Where to find Mewtwo in Pokemon Let’s Go?

First off, you’ll need to finish the game and become the champion of the Pokemon League. Once you’ve done that, you’ll be notified a rare pokemon has been spotted in a cave near Cerulean City. That’s the one in the northeast of the map. Once you’re there, take Route 24 north. When you cross the bridge turn left and inspec the water in the canal. Use Sea Skim and follow the canal until you see a cave with a stone gate.

Enter the Cerulean Cave and make your way to the west of the first floor. You’ll find a ladder leading up. On the next floor, look for a ladder going down in the northwestern corner. You’ll end up back on the first floor, in a separated area with just another ladder, leading further down. This will take you to the bottom floor. Now all you have to do is follow the path and you’ll reach Mewtwo in no time.

After you’re done battling it, you’ll get to the part where you throw balls at it. If you use a Master Ball, you’re guaranteed to capture it. If you fail at capturing Mewtwo, you’ll have to defeat the legendary four again before it respawns.
