Helix Fossil & Dome Fossil in Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu & Eevee are items that you can get in the game. Finding the Pokemon Let’s Go Dome and Helix fossil isn’t that easy, though. They are well hidden and you’ll have to search for them in the caves, and defeat a specific trainer in a specific location. Where to Find Helix Fossil & Dome Fossil in Pokemon Let’s Go?
To find the Helix Fossil and Dome Fossil in Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu & Eevee, you’ll first have to reach the area called Mt Moon (map below). The game calls it “a mountain where shooting stars are said to fall. It is apparently abundant with fossils.” So, that’s your first clue right there.
Once you reach Mt Moon, you’ll have to battle a series of trainers as you make your way through the area. You’re looking for a trainer that has black hair, glasses, a gray plaid shirt, black pants, and black shoes. He’s standing next to two rocks that block your path forward (the two rocks being the actual fossils). You can get either a helix fossil or dome fossil from him, but it can never be just that easy, is it?
How to Get Pokemon Let’s Go Helix Fossil & Dome Fossil?
To get Helix Fossil or Dome Fossil in Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu & Eevee, you’ll have to defeat the trainer we talked about above. Once you do, he’ll give you the option to choose between a Helix Fossil or a Dome Fossil. Yes, it’s a choice; as far as we can tell, you can’t get both from this trainer.
Once you get the Helix Fossil or Dome Fossil, the trainer will explain that you need to take it to a lab on Cinnabar Island. Apparently, the scientists there are doing research into reviving fossils. But, that’s a story for another time.
IMPORTANT: We haven’t finished the main story yet, but reddit user magikarpex wrote that he found another Helix / Dome fossil in a Cave near Cerulean city once he finished the main story.
