Pokemon GO TCG Hat Pikachu Spotlight Hour June 2022

The June 2022 Pokemon GO TCG Hat Pikachu Spotlight Hour features the Pikachu with a blue hat, which may or may not be shiny (more about that in the next section). As is always the case with these events, it will take place on Tuesday (June 28th in this case) from 6 PM local time to 7 PM local time. During this hour, you’re going to see the special Pikachu spawning all over the place. Considering that this is a rare version of the beloved Pokemon, you should probably participate in this Spotlight Hour, even if you generally ignore them. As for the event bonus, this time around it’s double Catch Stardust, which is just kinda whatever.

Can Pikachu with Blue Hat be Shiny

Yes, the Pikachu with the blue hat, aka the Pokemon GO TCG Hat Pikachu, absolutely can be shiny, and this Spotlight Hour is going to be one of the rare opportunities to catch some. I mean, this version of the electric mouse commemorates the ongoing TCG crossover event, so heaven knows when and if we’ll see this variant of Pikachu again. For this reason, while I’m generally neutral towards Spotlight Hours in general, this one actually has my interest. Incidentally, in case you don’t know, the shiny version of Pikachu is more of a light orange, as opposed to its usual yellow hue. They’re a little difficult to tell apart, so just catch every single Pikachu with a blue hat you see.
