Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour June 29th
The June 29th Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour is upon us, so I’d imagine that all you Trainers want to know more details about it, especially if you don’t pay much attention to the news the developers put out. If you’ve already played any Spotlight Hour event, you’ll feel right at home. However, those that are new to the game might still have some questions. That’s why we’ve put together this guide, in which we’ll show you when the upcoming Spotlight Hour will take place, which Pokemon and bonus feature it’ll revolve around, and how to prepare for it.
June 29th Spotlight Hour in Pokemon Go
The Pokemon Go June 29th Spotlight Hour will, as is always the case with these event, revolve around one Pokemon. In this case, it’s going to be Aipom. During that one hour, the chosen Pokemon will appear in the wild more often, giving you a higher chance of catching a Shiny (and a bunch of others to mill for Candies). The featured bonus of this particular event will be double Catch Star Dust. Incidentally, the Spotlight Hour will take place between 6PM and 7PM local time, so you’ll probably avoid the worst of the summer heat that’s been pummeling large swaths of the northern hemisphere.
Now, since the Spotlight Hour lasts for, well, an hour, you should go ahead and prepare for it. For one, you should definitely stock up on Incense, Berries, and PokeBalls. By that, I mean you’ll need just enough Incense for the hour, just so that you maximize the amount of Pokemon you find during the Pokemon Go June 29th Spotlight Hour. As for the Berries, Razz Berries will help you catch more stubborn monsters, and you might also consider Pinap Berries for extra Candies.
When it comes to PokeBalls, you’ll obviously need a bunch of regular ones for catching Pokemon, but you should also have a couple of Ultra Balls for the stronger ones. Another important thing to do is to clear out your Pokemon storage in order to have sufficient room. That’s basically all you’re going to need; any other items that you like to use are welcome, but not really necessary.
